BBA German Exchange 2025

 Today was our last day of school at Wiggy. We can't believe how fast the last two weeks have gone! We had the afternoon off - some people went to the Porsche Museum, others went to the pool, into town to do some last minute shopping or home to rest. Then we met at the soccer field for a friendly soccer game against our German partners. Everyone from our group played and we had so much fun! The final score was a 2-2 tie. After the game, we had ice cream that was brought to us by Anne (one of the German teachers).

 We had school for the morning with our partners. Then we all went to Tübingen, an old university town about an hour from Stuttgart. We went punting on the Neckar river - some of us even had the chance to 'drive' the boat. It was beautiful! After the boats, we had a little time to explore in Tübingen - most of us got food and then did a little shopping. Then we headed back to Stuttgart.

 We were back to school for the morning classes. Many of us gave our presentations to the German classes today - BBA, clubs at BBA, American food, Sports and Music were our topics. Then we went, along with a few of our partners, to Esslingen - a nearby medieval town. We got a tour of the town and then had a little time to explore before we headed back to school.

They had mündliche Prüfungen for the Abitur again today at Wiggy, so there were no regularly scheduled classes. Some of our students helped organize a sports day for the younger students at a field nearby, so we went to that with them. Other students did not have anything, so we had a free day. Many of the students who had a free day took us to an amusement park for the day. The rest of us met at school and went to see the Fernsehturm (TV Tower) - the first of its kind in Germany. Then we got ice cream on the way back to school!
